Bachelor & Bachelorette Show is an annual beauty pageant that is in aid of CANSA a non-profit organisation that helps Cancer patients feel at ease and consulting to their loved ones. CopperStone Productions started the event 7 years ago and the pageant has grown phenomenally over the years. 2013 marks the first national selection of finalist and shows a wonderful group of vibrant individuals who have been touched by cancer and want to make a difference by raising funds for CANSA.
Lindie Vermaak (MUD Johannesburg North Distributor) was runner up Bachelorette in 2012 and holds the pageant close to her heart and this is also the event where Lindie and Brenda Botha (Owner MUD South Africa) met and began a professional relationship.
This year the MUD team ensured that the finalist looked their best by being a make-up category sponsor of the 4 month event. The pageant kicked off with a women’s day event at Eagle canyon Golf estate on Friday 16 August 2013 . MUD make-up artists did each finalist make-up expertly and they looked gorgeous in their designer dresses and confident when introducing themselves and motivating their cause in the pageant.
Saturday 17 August 2013 was a press launch held at Kloofzicht in Magaliesburg, Gauteng. The evening was a huge success and MUD was officially introduced to the local press as a major contributor to the event and up coming events. The final will be held on the 9 November 2013 at Silverstar Casino and will be attended by South African celebrities, actors, singers and press.
