A press launch was held on 30 November when press, celebrities and top makeup artists from the area attended to receive the latest products from MUD to trial along with and introduction to the brand and its training.
Brenda Botha says “The retail outlet allows consumers to freely experience the brand coupled with expert makeup advice from top MUD makeup artists.” She invites all of Durban’s ladies to enjoy the space and experience a higher level of makeup artistry.
THE MUD MAVEN Competition was launched on the 1st of September 2016. Ladies entered online by submitting a motivational letter and filling in a questionnaire along with submitting photos of the entrant by 4th November 2016.
The Top 20 were then be carefully selected and announced on 18th November 2016. These contestants recently participated in interviews, a photoshoot and midweek of makeup and photography workshops. The winning Maven has been selected, and our first ever is Micaela Benn.
She is Micaela Benn, who is a vibrant young lady and a great fit for the brand.
The MUD Maven has won R10 000 cash plus a years’ worth of MUD makeup and will be involved in many exciting activities in 2017 with the brand nationally. She will attend store openings, launches, dual promotions, fashion shows, TV and movie premiers the MUD brand is potentially involved in. She will provide step by step guides to the latest makeup looks & tutorials, and generally promote the brand via social media and the local bloggers and press.
