During this weekend our Top 24 Mrs South Africa Finalists were subjected to various lifestyle challenges such as a makeup-challenge, various photo shoots, a fitness challenge with various celebrities such as former and current Mrs SA, Cindy Nell and a fitness challenge with Lisa Raleigh.
Our weekend was very busy and filled with various activities and photo shoots which MUD professional makeup artists did makeup for all 24 of the finalists as well as our current Mrs SA along with a few celebrities.
We also did a “hair and makeup challenge” on the Saturday afternoon where we did a demonstration/workshop for our finalists on how to create an “Old Hollywood Glamour Look” and then the finalists had to “recreate the look” as part of their challenge. Look out for this on the Expresso Morning show.
Our finalists also had to do “product reviews” over the Lifestyle weekend (written reviews as well as video clips) We are waiting for this footage and will share these on social media and on our next blog post.
We also hosted a pamper party in association with Caribbean Tan on the Friday night where the finalists were filmed “playing with makeup”.
The Sunday Times sent a photographer/journalist to cover the weekend. Other media publications such as Fairlady Magazine and Idees Tydskrif as well as local press will cover the event.
