Level III - Essentials of Hairstyling and Portfolio Development
In this make-up course, students create make-up and hairstyling set-ups on professional models, in a series of projects that are designed to challenge the student while simulating actual working environments. Each set-up is captured by a professional photographer; photos may be used by students in their portfolios. While students receive lessons on the business of make-up artistry in all courses, this course devotes time to instructing students on website design, resume skills, marketing techniques and other business acumen necessary to help them succeed in their careers.
This program has been designed to provide graduates with the skills necessary to begin a career as an entry-level make-up artist. Graduates from this program are prepared to find entry-level work in the following areas:
- Make-Up Artists
- Sales Consultants
- Freelance Artists for weddings and social occasions
- Make-Up Artists at a salon
Total Duration – 105 clock hours.
Hairstyling duration – 10 full days or 20 half days – 70 clock hours in total ( Theory and Practical)
Portfolio Development – 5 Full days or 10 half days – 35 clock hours in total (consists of 2 days Theory and 3 full days of photo-shoots)

Make-Up Designory also offers students the option to take individual courses alone in order to expand a particular area of expertise. These individual courses will require students to meet certain prerequisites prior to being accepted on the course.
